Six illustrated iPhone steps: open the new WWFX app in Safari; Share and Add to Home Screen with Open as Web App on; launch the new icon; connect with a private one-time code; allow notifications; send a test and lock the phone. — iPhone picture guide — Open full size to zoom in ↗. Illustrations may differ from your screen. Written steps for all devices are below.

1. Install on your device

2. Connect and enable

Sign in to the WWFX website and open Community → Get WWFX app & alerts → Message alert settings → Generate my connection code. You must already be approved for a community group.
Copy the complete code. Open your installed WWFX app, paste it into Device connection code, and tap Connect my account. Your groups should appear. Each code works once and expires after 10 minutes. Never share it.
In the WWFX app, tap Alerts → Enable notifications. Then tap Allow notifications and choose Allow in the phone or browser permission popup. If Connect notifications appears, tap it to finish.
Look for Permission: granted and Device connection: Saved to your WWFX account. Tap Send test in 5 seconds, leave the app and lock your phone. Check that the test appears.
For a real-message check, ask a different approved member to send a message in your shared group while your phone is locked. Messages from your own account do not alert your other devices.

Enable button greyed out: connect your account inside this installation first. Installing a new icon does not carry over the connection from your browser.

Permission: default: permission has not been granted yet. Tap Allow notifications and accept the system popup.

Permission: denied: check Settings → Notifications for WWFX (or your browser notification settings on a computer). If WWFX is missing on iPhone, first confirm you opened the installed icon without browser controls. If still blocked, contact WWFX with a screenshot of Alerts, keeping codes private.

Granted but no alert: confirm the device connection says Saved, check internet access, Focus / Do Not Disturb and notification settings, then send a test. The sender must be a different member for a real-message test.

Code expired or used: generate a fresh code on the signed-in website and connect within 10 minutes.

Use Message alert settings to generate your private connection code. These are WWFX app alerts; members do not need the Wix app. Alerts require internet and your device permission. Group access still requires approval.
